The building treats the outcrops as rooms. Walls stop where the stone is better left alone.
Dimora Nurra is not a coastal house. It sits in the Gallura hills behind the Costa Smeralda, in a landscape of weathered granite and cork oak. The architecture is a series of white cubic volumes threaded between existing rock, with courtyards that do the work air-conditioning would otherwise do.
Six bedrooms are distributed so that two can be closed entirely when the house is used by fewer people. The kitchen is the centre of the plan. A studio at the far end of the garden is independent — useful for guests or for work.
Offers are considered privately. The owners have asked that the house not be advertised in the ordinary way, which is why the price is given only in conversation.

Plan
On the ground
San Pantaleo sits inland from the Costa Smeralda, among the granite outcrops that give Gallura its character. The village square still matters. Houses here are about stone, shade and the long evening, not marina frontage. It is where we look when a client wants Sardinia without the harbour calendar.
